The man who lives in a BOEING 727

Bruce Campbell is the name of this man of 64 years who has purchased an old Boeing 727 and decided to use it as a private residence.

It all began in 1999 when Mr. Campbell developed a project for the recovery of airliners destined to be dismantled. Bruce, a former engineer, he had this brilliant idea of "reuse" and give a second life to this plane, placing it in the woods of Oregon.

Well equipped and comfortable, the plane rests on concrete pillars and has a number of services and areas furnished: from the living room to the bedroom from the bathroom to the kitchen area.
All this cost him $ 100,000 in the year 1999 but later it paid $ 120,000 more for the setting in motion of the aircraft, various equipment and logistics.

This man has a period of overnight stay on the plane for about 6 months a year, while the other remaining spends his time looking to purchase another old Boeing 747.
The thought of Bruce about his project is that it considers it inappropriate to provide for the dismantling of these incredible buildings and see the house inside as a sort of anti damage to the environment, as well as long lasting, as these fortresses have a capacity incredibly durable over time without deteriorating.

Bruce argues that to reach such an idea should be a lot of hard work but at the same time eccentricity and the ability to view what are the ways and means to deal with a similar situation.
First you need to have an airliner and, consequently, a land that can accommodate the aircraft; at the end to provide with the displacement.
For many people may seem crazy ideas, but incredibly fascinating.
